Rules and Rowies

On the 8.41 train to Aberdeen this morning three men in their 70's got on and sat at the opposite table. They had one suitcase between them which the did not want to be put out of arms reach. It was a heavy looking suitcase and didn't sound like it was packed with clothes.

At approximately 8.56 the big guy unzipped the case that was next to him and blocking the aisle. He reached inside with one hand and felt around for something. First out, a can of tennants followed by 2 glasses, wrapped in kitchen roll. Then, a can of Pepsi and a half filled, chilled litre bottle of gin.

They were on a day out to Inverness.
