Hungry and Willing to Beg

This was a skinnier squirrel than the ones that usually raid our feeders; he was willing for me to get really close. He was sweet and "talked" me into letting him eat as much as he wanted.

I went to the lake to take photos of the awesome ducks that were there yesterday, but the lake was frozen and there were only mallards there. I am including a photo in the extra; don't tell anyone, but it is one I took yesterday. I wanted you to see the hooded mergansers that I think are so different. The photo isn't great, but I think it is good enough for the extra.
