Commissioned

Imagine our surprise over the weekend opening a package with these two oil paintings inside. The artist shall remain anonymous, but her initials are Paula Roberts-Banks, better known here as Subjunctive on the Polaroid Blipfoto rounds. She, being a dog lover herself, took my pictures of Kirby of late and painted them, completely lifelike and realistic. She did this, of course, totally unsolicited, and all on her own. Whatever my repayment to her for this will never come close to matching the gift of her art, and the gift of her heart. What a gift.
