The Ducks Have Arrived

At Shearwater Park, I found small clouds reflected in glassy water. I also found a great blue heron fishing in the shallows. I aimed my camera in the direction of the heron, but he was rather far away. Then a family of ducks flew down to light upon and ruffle the waters surface. The clouds made me happy, as did the ducks and the glorious reflections. As did the few bright splashes of fall color.
