Mr Prickles

Met this cute cheeky little chappie in the Wildlife office at the Castle this afternoon. Four rescue baby hedgehogs are being looked after over the winter as they're too small to survive in the wild.

Also had the pleasure of meeting two sprightly Guinea Fowl chicks who were keeping warm under a sun lamp. Always such a delight to visit the wildlife warden to see the latest Castle cuties and hear about ongoing projects.

Any one else wish they could curl up under a heat lamp and snooze? Hating the dark, wet, winter days at the moment. Hurry up Christmas cheer!
