Halkirk not Falkirk

Halkirk, not Falkirk and Ulbster not Ulster.  The Ulbster Arms may not look like much from the outside, but it is a very hospitable place in a fairly remote and inhospitable landscape.  We arrived at midnight and went to our rooms.  I had asked for some sandwiches to be left for me, which was duly done, accompanied by a very large glass of whisky!!  When we paid our bills today we were told that the whisky was on the house.  We duly did our focus groups and then travelled down to Alness to do another.  Overnighting here and then off to Keith tomorrow to do two more.
