A summer hike... in the snow

We escaped the (moderate) heat and humidity of our neighborhood to go up to one of the tourist destinations on Mt. Rainier where we could play in the not-so-pristine snow. Most of the snow has melted but I'm sure the trees there would like it all to be gone. The weather was wet and fairly dark up there, but we had fun anyway.
