Thank goodness for marigolds...

...on a day like today - or at least a morning. It began horribly with the trinity of foul weather (wind, rain, cold) but by lunchtime there was blue sky and at going home time we had to defrost the cars. They are again threatening us with snow, butI don't believe them. I think they forecast snow whenever it gets a bit cold so that they will be right one day (possibly - there was no snow in Edinburgh last winter at all).
