Candle in the Night

When I was little I can remember my Grandmother teaching me a little prayer...

Jesus bids us shine with a clear, pure light,
like a little candle burning in the night.
In this world of darkness we must shine,
You in your small corner and I in mine!

Clearly, in all those years, nothing much has changed in the world...but we should all do our bit to spread a little kindness.
