A Good Result

Finally! Tom came home to take his Old Man to the football (or to get his Old Man to buy him a ticket for the football, whatever) and, despite the distinct possibility of hypothermia, we were heartened to attend a game where Forest finally came good. Despite a few of the usual problems – conceding the early goal, a sending-off, Lansbury being “a bit nutty” – they managed not to fall prey either to sloppy defending or that frustrating inability to find a finish. 3-1! Maybe things are looking up.
