Farewell little Missy... MonoMonday star

Yesterday ended horribly and unexpectedly, when our dear little Missy suddenly became very unwell late in the evening. We took her straight to the emergency vet where it was discovered that shadows around her lungs were causing her severe breathing difficulties.  Her condition was incurable and it was impossible to give her any relief from her distress and so, heartbreakingly we had to make the inevitable decision...
 
Over the past few years, all our kitties have been commandeered into assisting with my MM blips and Missy has featured in some of my most popular shots, so I make no apology for foregoing today's theme and instead posting a collage of some of my favourite of Missy's blip moments.

Today we will lay her to rest in the garden, near the other kitties who have gone before her.  Goodbye little sweetheart.
