New plank for the 1841 whaler Charles Morgan

The 1841 whaler Charles Morgan is getting new planks below the waterline at Mysyic Seaport in CT. This White Oak plank is about 32 ft long weighing 600 - 800 lbs. Installed hot, right out of the steambox, there are about 20 minutes to get it correctly positioned before it cools. Fastened initially with a few bronze spikes and then with locust trunnels.
