Great day

Breakfast at Pieri's, Kilmacolm.
Lunch at The Junction, Lochwinnoch.
Dinner at The Bungo, Pollokshields.
Puppy visiting in the morning.
Walk round Castle Semple in the afternoon.
Family and friend visiting throughout the day.
Macbeth at the Tramway with Alan Cumming in the evening. Disturbing but engrossing.
Chatted up by the Big Issue vendor before and after the show.
Lots of fizz at the Gibsons' and a Tunnock's teacake with a candle instead of a birthday cake.
Pretty good day all round!

It turns out being 43 isn't too bad.
