35 minutes to closing time

I nipped into town to takes photo. I've done most of my Christmas shopping on line. It's more relaxing.

I've made the Christmas cake. There is a huge amount of fruit in it. I always forget to get the butter out earlier so that it can soften. While I measured the other ingredients I put it inside my fleece to warm. That worked well.

It's now cool and has been wrapped up in a cake box. I'll feed it some more sherry next week.

Mr F's been working on the toilet. We can't flush of yet but it does have water in the bowl. There is still lots to do but we are getting there.
