Night no more

A rainy, blustery walk this evening to the majestic St Chad's Church for their advent carol service. A service like this, in a church renowned for it's musical excellence, was never going to be anything but beautiful. I don't have words to describe the sound of the choir (hopefully SS will do it justice) but it really was tremendous. Most of the service was sung, interspersed with readings taking us on a journey from the first words of Genesis to the final words of Revelation. Glorious.
