Pleasant surprise

At the (excellent) dinner last night the running club did the usual type of awards for results but they also ones for other things, such as running every day for a year, making a come-back, support for the club, and they gave me this one for trying new challenges. I was "dead chuffed".
Today we had reduced numbers at church as it started snowing verily heavily about three-quarters of an hour before we started and some of the roads were temporarily rather treacherous. Nevertheless, we had a good service and a good visiting preacher.
The snow turned to rain as we were finishing so no nice snowy pics.
