A chilly day today - windy with very heavy hail showers.  Very loud thunder in the night again, so I got up around 3am to turn the router off.

Had a greenfinch on the bird feeder today, as well as the usual sparrows, robin, blackbirds, starling and thrush...they are certainly feeling the cold.  I bought a pair of thermal socks yesterday, which are meant to be 2.3 tog, so tried them today, and they are toasty :)
