Tynemouth

I have never been to Tynemouth before and didn't know what to expect but it is an interesting place and we were both impressed.

In the end we spent the day there including a fair amount of time at the railway station where there was a Sunday market.

This was taken looking over towards the monument to Lord Collingwood at sunset.

I like the photographs of Martin Parr and my extra is an attempt to capture that sort of feel. It could really have done with some people in huddled against the cold.
