Night & Grey
These grotesques are half way up a chimney in the brewery grounds. As you can see by the brickwork, this is no ordinary factory chimney.....but it was except for the fact that Carl Jacobsen owned the factory and believed in functionality with beauty. The whole side of the brewery that he developed (as opposed to his dad's side) is a testament to this philosophy and makes for one interesting bit of industrial architecture and history.
I again managed to catch the daily ten minutes of daylight between the night & grey that currently dominate life at the moment.
