Happy Birthday Matthew's mum

A lovely day. We have been swimming in the pool, mooched about the huge garden. Had a more food than we should. A brunch and a lovely birthday afternoon tea. More to come when we get the nippers settled. We have had a powercut (just half an hour) so we lit the fire. And lots of candles on the cake.
Did I say Ellie is the sweetest, loveliest, brainy daughter one could hope for?
