Stromness Waterfront

It’s not been the best of days; or the worst of days.  In fact I am in a total daze.  I am now in the first awakenings of my listening project.  As I type, the butternut squash is roasting in the oven, when it’s ready I will add it to my prepared base for the vegetable curry.  As an accompaniment I have made a beetroot, carrot and cucumber dish which I have soaked in a lime / oil / garlic and cumin dressing.

CMC will be home soon.  The stove is lit, the lights are on, the curtains are all drawn and Harry, Baz and Bibs are all fireside.

I wonder whether anyone is occupying the featured love nest along the Stromness Waterfront?  Alas since the News of the World ceased publication perhaps we’ll never know.
