Dr Paul Brand

I came through to Cambridge tonight for a work event tomorrow, and am staying with a lovely family. It's a very small world though, as it turns out they are related to Dr Paul Brand. I never met him, but heard a lot when working with The Leprosy Mission Scotland. For those who have never heard of him, he was a pioneering surgeon in reconstructive surgery techniques, which made a huge difference in helping leprosy patients regain function in their hands.
