Rough sleepers

This lovely group of people are united in their work, all trainee police officers, and united in their goodwill and willingness to help those who are unable to help themselves. These good folks, with others totalling 57 in number, slept rough to raise money for those without anywhere to call home. They were given a warm meal, a pile of cardboard and a few plastic sheets and made beds in the grounds of Chelmsford Cathedral. Mrs K and I hosted our rough sleepers and provided loos, hot and cold drinks and a friendly welcome for all. It was quite an evening and many will benefit from their generosity.
