Star spangled Christmas lights

For a change of scene and to get into the Christmas spirit, we have come to Chur for the weekend. Travelling through Klosters it was good to see that other parts of Switzerland have had a lot more snow than us this week. In Chur, the Christmas markets were full of beautiful gifts, decorations, good food and all things Christmassy. The Salvation Army were out singing and in the city hall covered market there were choir singers, kids making candles and plenty else besides. We managed to avoid the beer tent and the raclette tent and ate out at a great Italian restaurant down the street, before heading back to our cosy hotel (pictured).
