Learning together....

I've had the privilege of beginning each day this week making paper gingerbread houses. Also extending reading skills, looking at our irregular spelling, decoding abrieviations such as tsp and tbsp, scaling down a pattern for making an edible gingerbread house and enjoying learning about Danish Christmas traditions. All in the company of a delightful young man from Denmark who is needing a little encouragement at the moment. 
 
Next week we will continue and I think we will then have made enough paper houses to create a small village, which we will use to decorate the Workshop classroom.
