It is Friday

It was the Paul Palmer Quartet last night at Burgundy's.  He was accompanied by Jack Davies from Cockermouth on drums, Geofff Bartholomey, from Penrith on trumpet and this guy Steve Simpson from Barrow on double base.  All these places are all at least 30 miles from Kendal - how can these musicians just turn up and play? 

I decided to bring forward this double base player who was behind Paul.  Paul moved around enough to enable me to see enough and I so much enjoyed doing this sketch.
