Leshan Buddha

Our travels then took us to Sichuan, the home of spicy hot pot, pandas and THIS magnificent stone carved Buddha. The biggest of its kind in the world. It was amazing to see in real life!
Due to our budget, we took a 28 hour from Lijiang to Chengdu. I, under no circumstances, recommend this. Imagine traffic jams, people constantly vomiting, broken coach toilets (so I had to 'relieve' myself in abandoned construction sites), and migrant workers sneaking on in the middle of the night. A nightmare, but I'll never complain about a megabus again.
