Catching up with family and friends

After a fairly quiet week it has been quite a sociable 24 hours, first of all with D#1 coming to stay the night so that she could get to an early appointment at the dentist's.

K then arranged for us to go and have coffee with June and Laurie. June produced a slab of her red pepper cake, half of which she had frozen a few weeks ago, and K managed to identify the mystery ingredient.

Full of coffee and cake we were then off to The Clachan for a reunion lunch with my nephew Andrew and his lovely wife Amanda whom we hadn't seen since their wedding five years ago. They were nearing the end of a mini tour of Scotland to celebrate Amanda's birthday.

Nothing planned for the weekend, so I may end up watching some of the dvds that have arrived this week. Have a good weekend, blipmates!
