Mrs B has headed off to Kendal for a weekend of reckless abandon with an old pal so I began the boys' proper education, setting them against each other to instill healthy-to-pathological sibling rivalry.

I had some bad bike news - my much neglected Sirrus needs new wheels, cables, frontshift mechanism and a few as yet undiscovered repairs besides... who can advise me on cheap sources of replacement parts and the skills to do the repairs?
