38 year commemorative block

This is a piece of concrete that was cut out of the floor in the hydrotherapy area at the VA hospital where I worked for 38.5 years. When they were remodeling the Physical Therapy whirlpool area into doctor examine rooms my friend and my boss salvaged this piece of concrete and hide it for 5 years till I retired. They put a plaque on it & gave it to me to honor my years of service. For 30 years, I walked on this piece of concrete while treating the wounds of those who had served the USA. It was an honor to serve and I was honored by my friends thoughts and good will.
