Candlelit

I've been at bookclub this evening, and the new pub we go to has quieter music (our hearing's not what it was) and candlelight (takes years off). The book was The Bone Clocks by David Mitchell. Mixed reviews: a couple of us really loved it, the rest were a bit less sure. I think he is an author who has become so popular that his work isn't edited well enough. If it had been shorter, it might have been better. And I fundamentally don't like his sci fi bits.

The rest of my day was pretty mental, but had some really lovely student moments.
