Sunrise

I picked up my camera from the shop this afternoon.  It got a good "bath."  All scrubbed up.  The sensor was filthy and I had to stop using it for a short time because spots were showing up in the shots.  The little Canon Powershot is not bad but, hopefully, this sunrise will be the last time I have to use it for anything significant I want to photograph.

I find that the photos with the iPhone are okay, too,  but I don't get the kind of satisfaction from taking pictures with either that I get with my DSLR.  To a certain degree, I can say the same thing about photos taken through the window with the camera on the tripod.

There is nothing like having my hands caressing the camera and becoming one with it that I think makes the whole thing so passionate for me.  It's love.
