Not so much derelict . . .
. . . as 'doomed'.
I've walked past this building each time I've been in Newcastle over the last few weeks and every week there is less and less of it. So, whilst it is still sort of standing, this is my contribution to Derelict Sunday. It's sad to see a building disappear like this, but in the sunshine this morning it took on an almost magical aura.
A good day in Newcastle:
* A really interesting talk about how Red Kites have been reintroduced into the North East.
* A seminar on the fascinating book - The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time.
* Pasta at Jamie's.
* And tonight we are going to see Bellowhead once again - sadly for the last time as they are splitting up, this being their farewell tour.
(I wasn't sure whether this should be DS5 or 6)
