Rain stops Play

Well, outside play, anyway. I was all set, so I was, putty knife, brush, paint. And then the weather changed. So it was the indoor stuff that needed catching up on; a bit of plastering and painting in the bathroom - the son is away to Kelburn 'Garden Party' festival to get out his tree, so I have a slooshing free period for a couple of days.
Right! It's that time of day.
But first, I've missed the box office opening for the Edinburgh Book Festival - and I usually try to see something, anything really just to rub shoulders with the literary sorts. And get a free voucher for a dram of Highland Park in the Spiegeltent, of course.
