Beautiful November Day
What a beautiful day it is after all the dull wet ones we've been having. I popped up the road to see if I might be able to blip a Fieldfare on the berries. Well most of the berries have been eaten, and although I heard one in flight it was too fast for me. I heard bees and saw two Red Admiral butterflies enjoying the sunshine which I've put up on Flickr.
I popped down the track as I knew it would be lovely and sunny down there. I heard a Robin and Great Tits and also manage to photograph a squirrel going up a tree to get away from me. He/she is also Flickr if you need a fix. ;-)
I saw a couple of this little birds hopping around a tree in the sunshine. It was so delightful to watch them in this amazing late November weather. I can't decide if it's a Chiffchaff or a Willow Warbler as they are very similar. I'm thinking Willow Warbler because of the pink/orange feet but I could be completely wrong. Late news update According to a local birder it's a Chiffchaff as it's a much darker bird, plus all the Willow Warblers are in sub Sahara Africa right now.
