Heroes - Everyone of Them

The local Volunteer Fire Brigade turned up in my street to have a little practice and check the well with the hoses. Once everything was connected I was tempted to ask them to aim the hoses over my way. It was a shame to see all that water going to waste when my garden is crying out for it.

I have great admiration for these guys who give up their time to serve others in often dangerous conditions. My main blip is them getting ready on arrival, but I must admit I rather like the extra of them lined up - presumably for inspection - before rolling out the hoses.
