Macau

Now I'll be honest, compared to Hong Kong, Macau didn't really strike me as an unmissable place to travel to, but with it being only a three hour coach from Guangzhou, it felt wrong at least not giving gambling a small go.
That aside, I did love walking around this little microcosm of Eurasian culture. The beautiful Portuguese churches set amongst streets stuffed with Chinese medicine shops and antique stalls and stands selling egg tarts really is an interesting sight to behold.
