The Cross.

I went out in the afternoon with my camera, to find an interesting blip, mindful of the grey clouds.
Suddenly there was a roll of thunder, and the heavens opened.
The door to the Catholic Church chapel was thankfully open, so I waited there for about 20 minutes until the sun came out once again. It is a very peaceful rectangular room, with a picture of Mother Mary, this painted Cross and a huge Bible on a lectern. There is holy water near the door , a small altar and a candle.
I took a photo of this beautiful cross.
It encapsulates aspects of the Christian story, Jesus seated in Heaven with his disciples and his followers on Earth praying.
