Icons of Invention
London Day 4
It was "Lates" night at the Science Museum with doors open until 10 pm.
The queue at 6:45 was horrendous so I went to Muriel's Cafe in South Kensington. Great food bit they had sold out on the Christmas Pudding desert already!
The museum was busy, lots of people enjoying various talks, mini-exhibitions, hands-on experiences and food and drink.
This is a 1950 Rover Gas Turbine Car capable of 152 mph. It suffered, however, from poor fuel consumption and irregular throttle response so never made it through to full production.
