Sun Touched Larches
By the time Basil and I reached the Outwoods for a walk this afternoon, the sun had passed its zenith. It was beginning to get dark even at 3 pm.
The tall larches seemed to have the light shining on them but I noticed yellow fronds of larch lying on the ground in places. I'm not sure if they've been affected by a disease.
Final Wednesday rehearsal of the Bach B Minor Mass this evening before performance on Saturday. We managed to sing all the choral pieces. It's sounding pretty good but could always be better. Saw the Ferris Wheel in Jubilee Square on my way to St James'. Quite spectacular.
Then I had to pick up Basil from the Western pub afterwards. Got lost twice trying to find it somewhere off the Narborough Road.
