Christmas lights switch on

Party atmosphere this evening in Perth. Big parade down South Street with bands, Chinese community with their dragons, Santa and his reindeer. Horse and carriage pulling Billy Ocean who was switching the lights and singing, Christmas Characters and most of all a lovely happy atmosphere . After the parade there was a brilliant fireworks display.

There was a chocolate festival on in the afternoon with many stalls selling everything choclatey mmmmmm. Plenty of rides for children. And the weather was cold and sunny. The Council actually got it right this year. Well Done!
