A stick
fell off of my tree this morning. It was caught up in a lower branch, eye level. I reached up to pick the branch out and started studying the branch. It had lichen and Spanish Moss attached to it. There was a pine needle caught up in the moss. As I rotated the branch, I got an idea and planted the branch in a pot that was empty. Then I got my camera, rotated the pot, and started taking pics. What you see is the result of studying the branch from the angel of a lens.
The second shot is the same branch , from the other side. I found this to be a great study of details and light.
