Swans

We took our lunch down to Udale Bay and sat and watched the birds. The tide was in so not much land so most of the ducks were swimming in the water. One Whooper swan swam among the mix. A rainbow could be seen above one of the rigs. The sky darkened and geese flew across to land in the fields opposite.
We drove back through Cromarty when the sun came out again and lit up the rigs and the houses.
One the way back we spotted this group of whooper swans in one of the fields.Three geese flew off as I wound down the window to take a photo and the swans waddled off looking like they were doing the Hokey Cokey
The sky was amazing today some really great clouds and wonderful light
