Waiting

Waiting is what the season of Advent is about - completely contrary to the current vogue for putting up Christmas lights in November - and this afternoon my buddy and I did our customary job with ever more rampant greenery to create the Advent wreath for Holt Trinity Dunoon.

I started doing this in the early 90s when the iron stand first appeared. It looked so miserably bare with just the candles that I volunteered to dress it up a bit, and after that it just grew.
