Hever Castle

Today I went with a colleague to Hever Castle. We met with friends that have similar positions to ours and discussed various touristy and education issues.

We started with A tour of some of their B&Bs, followed by their education room (the think tank). Their accommodation was second to none, and my photo is of one of the rooms. Their education room is a temporary building (tent really with a wooden frame, but is heated) leaves much room for growth and improvement, but they don't have a dedicated Education Officer so it will be slow I think.

We took their media tour around the castle, followed by lunch where all four of us tried to solve the problems of castles as tourist attractions.

An absolutely fabulous day, and beneficial to all of us.
