Synchronised Swimming

A great display put on by these two shelducks,as we watched them from one of the hides at Blacktoft Sands.RSPB reserve. (See map)
What a glorious winters day.
That low bright sun you get at this time of year, along with a clear blue sky.
Perfect for a walk , and some bird watching too.
Not a lot about today on the lagoons, but we did see three marsh harriers, three goldeneye,
along with lots of teal, gadwall,wigeon, and of course shelducks.
The reeds sparkled as they swayed in the sunlight.
I wish we could have more winter days like this!

On the way home we called to see our favourite woodman. Filled the car, and are now all ready for the cold weather to come.
