Heading for the Open Sea.

This yacht had just emerged from the Muirton Basin at the northern end of the Caledonian Canal this morning at 9.0am. It probably came over from the west coast of Scotland and entered the canal at Corpach by Fort William.
This was him now heading through the Beauly Firth and under the Kessock Bridge to the Moray Firth and eventually into the North Sea.
A good day for sailing as well.
I took this with the telephoto lens on the new camera to try it out. Can't believe the extra distance I now have on my subjects.
So my blip for today, Heading for the Open Sea.
