Then there were 7
I noticed a bit of a feathery bust-up outside in the buddleia, which then moved onto the bird feeder. We have surmised that 6 is the optimum number of birds the feeder can accommodate, it got a bit hairy when #7 tried to join in as well. I think all of them got fed eventually though.
I am mortified at the state of the garden. All the plants in the background are weeds that need pulling, and the grass is nearly up to the bottom of the feeder again. If it would only stay dry long enough we could do something about it!
By the way, does anyone know what this bird is? I'm presuming they're males and females of the same type of bird.
