Old City Shoppers

These are people walking by the many shops in the old city of Jerusalem, Israel. It is a regular shopping day in the old city as all the Arab shopkeepers are displaying their wares to the mostly tourists who pass through this area every day. It is nearly always this busy, and it was an early morning walk that I took through this area. Shops, just like in the city, do not usually open till about 10 A.M. But, as the old saying goes, it is the early bird that catches the worm.
This part of the city is always very colorful. This photo is in the Christian quarter.
