So close

This young blackbird seemed quite interested in what I was doing and perched himself some 3 metres from where I was standing. He was just within my minimal focussing distance. So I stepped back a couple of paces and managed to get a nice portrait.

This is for Serena a work colleague and friend who is at the final stage of study for her Non Medical Prescribing qualification. She claims to be holed up in her room for nearly 24 hrs a day saying my blips help to remind her that there is life outside :)
